Regulations are demanding more and more energy efficient buildings are constructed. Do you want to understand how these regulations affect your trade? Do you want to know how to construct more energy efficient buildings?
The TrainEnergy project has designed a course on energy efficient buildings that targets tradesmen in the construction trade, a survey was carried out to identify which trades would most benefit from this training. These trades are bricklayer, plasterer, heating cooling and ventilation, carpenter and electrician. The training material produced is available for download here. The TrainEnergy course consists of two weeks’ training on the EU Energy Performance of Building Directives 2002 and Energy End-Use Efficiency and Energy Services 2006 for tradesmen in the construction industry.
To join the course you will need:
- Accredited qualification for your craft, or several years of professional experience.
- Interest in learning more about energy efficiency and sustainable energy in construction.
